Our Purpose

We invite people of every race, nationality, age, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, marital status, ability, financial means, ethnic and spiritual background into the life and ministry of this CoH. We believe God calls us to embody a forward-thinking, courageous, and diverse Christian community. We strive to follow the ways of Jesus, as a grace-filled, spiritual community of believers who practice affirming and open hospitality. We hope to engage our community with acts of love, mercy, peace, and justice.

What We Believe

At the core of Presbyterian identity is a secure hope in the grace of God in Jesus Christ, a hope that, by the power of the Holy Spirit, empowers us to lives lives of gratitude: “In affirming with the earliest Christians that Jesus is Lord, the Church confesses that He is its hope, and that the Church, as Christ’s body, is bound to his authority and thus free to live in the lively, joyous reality of the grace of God.” This strong emphasis on the grace of God in Jesus Christ is our heritage.
